NOTES The Gothic chapel was built in Paris during the Middle Ages by Saint Louis, the king of France.

It was designed as a shrine for Jesus Christ's thorn crown. The crown was bought from Constantinople (nowodays, Istambul in Turkey) at a time when many European nobles fought in the middle-east to get back Jerusalem from the Muslims.

It is located in the neighbourhood of Notre-Dame
